Honouring veterans isn’t about waving a flag and saying “thank you for your service”; you might as well be offering thoughts and prayers. Pleeeease support them with health care coverage, by providing them with safe housing, by demanding better support systems for troops’ mental health. By standing up for the liberties which they fought hard to protect. May your gratitude and admiration go beyond lip service.

I'm a US army veteran and I no longer like the phrase "thank you for your service" as it feels hypocritical. Really you want to thank me for all the work I did during my years in the army and then put a criminal back in the White House.

This is a great lesson for our kids. This truly is a man's world. A man can break all the rules and get away with anything, while women can work twice as hard and do everything right and still not get ahead in this world. This is pure logic. Women are a majority (51%) but we have never had a woman president. The 2 times we had extremely qualified and experienced women candidates, they both lost to a completely inexperienced tv reality show host male. A man who easily lost the only time he ran against anothrr man who was less qualified than the 2 women mentioned. Occams razor: the simplest explanation is usually the right one.
