I get tears in my eyes listening to her testimony about her father... her father gave everything, including his career to pass these laws in 1964 because the country needed it above everything else

To be able to see this conversation from LBJ’s daughter about Biden’s decision not to run, is amazing. I think we should all feel like we were in the room because I felt that same feeling that she talks about when he was addressing the nation. And I did an ugly cry. Because Joe is honest and decent and has served our country so well, I pray that each of his remaining days serve as a drop mic moment for him.
I also thank President Biden for working with our allies to have hostages free from Russia.

What a gracious talk by Luci Baines Johnson. She called the Civil Rights Act the end of legalized Apartheid - signed by her father on her 17th Birthday and she referenced the Hamilton musical "In the room where it happened." This is a real keeper of an interview.
