He was happy to play a goblin holding a pint, and now he's basically the closest thing to the main character of the game. The most iconic character.

And think about how many "goblin with a pint" characters are in this game and all the effort even the small characters got put into them, makes you really appreciate the talent and hard work that went into this

You can't not love this man. He's got everything. Style, charisma, looks, modesty, talent and the work ethic and passion to go along with it. I imagine this game will catapult him into true stardom, and he deserves it.

I'm so glad that he enjoys playing his character! Sometimes I get concerned about VAs (or actors in general) getting tired of characters they've played and annoyed with fans constantly asking them to "do the voice", so the fact that Neil seems to love Astarion as much as we all do, is just the icing on top!

Just started replaying resident evil 8, and as soon as Heisenberg appeared at the start, my wife sat bolt upright and shouted, 'Wait, I know that voice!' Neil is now a household name, at least in my house.

I have never been so attached to the voice actors of a game. Every one of them knocked it out of the park. Astarion and Laezel were excellent.

The best thing about Astarion is as he begins to actually really care, you can hear the change as he talks from act 1. That is amazing voicework
