Dude I'm glad you mentioned this, people are always waking me up in the middle of the night after a big night out and showing me chess positions and asking me which I prefer.

I am that person who likes to see continuation after resignation. Thank you for showing that.

The way Naka looked when Alireza blocked with the rook was also amazing! It was like : Whaaaat?

The only one who can stop Alireza is Alireza himself.

Great video as always, Agadmator! The saying you were thinking of is probably "It ain't over 'til it's over." It's usually credited to Yogi Berra and perfectly captures the unpredictable nature of chess. No matter how certain a position looks, there's always room for surprises until the final move. That's what makes chess so exciting and keeps us on the edge of our seats!

Been there, done that: game is almost won, did everything right, all the hard work is about to pay off... and I blunder a piece (sometimes ma Queen, Jon snow), get check-mated, or -- in the best of cases -- I allow my opponent to squeak by and claw to a draw. 1200 ELO is brutal.

What Agad wanted to say was:
“it’s never over till the fat lady sings”

"That's not how we roll on this channel"- I absolutely can vouch for this. No click bait for Agadmator.

After the game, The Great Hikaru held 2 magic shows, and needed a volunteer.
