They should've done a crazy cool mix of this in one of the Sequels or the newer trilogy to give a wink nod to the fans who'd recognize this as a nod to H2 1981, acknowledge it as a sense of H2 1981 was a movie starring Jamie lee curtis that was a perfect time to throw it in as she did the newer trilogy for the fans and to give her final Laurie strode performance a salute
