Omg I attended and graduated from B-CU too! Started off as a business major and transitioned to accounting my Sophomore year. Since graduating, I’ve worked in corporate, but I still need to pass the exam. Thanks for this video!

I worked and studied at the same time. It was well worth the time, tears, and money. Growing up in New York, I never heard of CPA. I still get teary eyed when think about what I have accomplished. No one can’t take this from me.

This is very true I’m at a top 10 Accounting School in the country and I am the only black student in my class. Thanks for the motivation💯

Great video and great motivation!! Congratulation for your big accomplishment. I think we had really similar experiences. I also studied CPA exams right after graduation last year and got last score one month ago. Because I only have 120 credits hours, so I need to go back school fulfill extra 30 credits. I'll apply for internship next month hopefully get hired.

Loved the video! Thank you for sharing your experience of becoming a CPA and being one of the few black CPAs. As a biracial person, I agree that there needs to be more diversity in the CPA field, and I am glad you're raising awareness. This makes me more motivated to pass the CPA exam!

Bro you killed it. 👏👏👏 You're so right, all my other classes, 40 to 50 students. Accounting is a small group about 10 to 15 students and half drop after the first or second exam lol

Thank you for being a voice for us black & brown folks😊 Can you please have a CPA on that tested while raising kids? I'm working on my undergrad in accounting and once I graduate I will already have the credits to start studying and sitting for the CPA, but I have a very full plate already. I'm married with 2 kids and working full time plus I'm in my 30s. I'm crazy or a gluten for pain or both😫😆 I want it so bad, but it would be nice to see other moms who have went through the process and see how they did it. Either way I GREATLY appreciate you and your channel😊🙏🏽
