I like the look and the process. Always a learning process. One way to compensate if you don't have enough materials like veneer would be to make a shorter lamp with fewer rings. Four of each overlapping, etc., based on what you have on hand.

you may call it a "almost" fail but i think it looks awesome and wait till the guts are in it.. shes goin to shine! its never a fail if its functional! OR you can look at it from the batman prespective... "why do we fall? so we can pick ourselves back up again".
