Difference Between REAL ESTATE AGENT & REALTOR | North Carolina Provisional Broker and Broker
Do you know the difference between a Real Estate Agent and Realtor and a North Carolina Provisional Broker and Broker? A real estate agent is a licensed professional who assists clients in buying and selling properties. A Realtor is an active member of the National Association of Realtors, the state association of realtors and the local MLS or Multiple Listing Service. A Realtor is also a licensed real estate agent, but a real estate agent is not necessarily a Realtor.
A Provisional Broker is an entry-level broker that can work as an agent and sell homes, but they must work under a Broker-In-Charge who oversees all transactions. Brokers have less oversight and regulatory requirements than a Provisional Broker.

Hope that you return to posting videos! I’m starting to look into becoming a real estate agent in North Carolina too and by far your videos have been the most digestible and informative I’ve found for the state :)

Thank you for the information. Would also like to know the benefits of both. And would also like to know if you know anyone that has been a provisional broker part time and still was able to become a broker
