I'm a scrapbooker/cardmaker and part of discovering our style and expanding our abilities is making stuff that we might not necessarily be entirely happy with. But those projects/layouts lead to the ones we really love so it's worth it. As much as we might dislike some older projects, they nonetheless showcase our progression. I started taking pictures of my projects pretty early into my crafting journey and it's hilarious to go back to the start and flip through the projects, as you can really see the progress and evolution.
Now that I'm reading more, I'm constantly looking for bookmarks, so I've started using my patterned paper scraps to make bookmarks. I figured if I have more than I can use, I might offer them to my local library to give to library users.

I've been journaling and teaching journaling for decades. I also do a lot of art journaling. I am not good at drawing ( though you only get better by doing it more.) I also have dozens of poetry journals. Ironically I have never kept a reading journal even though I read voraciously. I want to begin a reading journal for 2025. I'm deciding on doing it in a blank journal or a commercially made reading journal. Well, only a few weeks left to decide LOL
