I drive in India and usually don't use horns. It isn't mandatory. Just be confident, maintain some distance, observe the movement of the person you are overtaking and you are good to go.

One of my cousins went aborad with a PR there only 2-3 years ago and when he came back to visit us, he was like why do we allow shops in residential areas in India and why it's not a good idea. for the twisted seat belt, you only need to rotate the belt pillar loop hanger clockwise or counterclockwise. no need to feed the belt twisted through the loop hanger.
