I couldn't find "Android Devices" but I just selected "All Devices" and after a wait, a big list came up and i scrolled down to "Google Inc" and carried on as per the vid and it worked.

Everyone needs this help in Windows 10. They say no ADB interface but the solution is to first connect the phone via usb and u will NOT select transfer files option that will pop out on phone, you will select charging only, so it willl not be connected as a media device. Secondly enable usb debugging on your phone.. Thirdly follow the video until the part where comes to device manager>ADB Interface. Here u wont see other devices option or adb interface anywhere. So, in the right column of device manager go to more actions> View>Show hidden Devices. Many options will now appear. You just have to go to Universal Serial Bus devices now and u will now see an unhided ADB interface.

I don't have the "ADB interface" in "Othher devices" but I have "MTP". Is it the same thing or not ?

After the step for "Let mepick from device drivers on my computer" I am not able to see " Android Device" under device types(2.34 secs on this video). I see that others also faced the issue, but there wwas no solution given. Any idea how to resolve this?

For those with an LG Mobile or Tablet and your device is not being recognized in debug mode, I installed the LG Mobile drivers at link below:


Click in LG Mobile Drivers and then select Windows or Mac on next screen. It should prompt download. Once it’s done your phone or tablet will prompt if you want if you want to connect your Tablet in Debug mode with the computer. After doing that I was able to type the commands at cmd.exe and use the SD card as internal storage. Hope this helps.

first off, mine says 0 files copied in the 15 second adb setup.
however I tried another setup and it probably worked, but in device manager i tried to install adb it says "device cannot start: error 10". any help will be much appretiated!

Under other devices, I cannot find the ADB interface. I installed correcetly, and I did it more than once but I still cannot find it. All that there is under other devices is CDC Serial and SAMSUNG_Android.
Please help

So i downloaded correctly, made sure it copied the 4 files but when i get to the device manager and view hidden files i still dont see "Other Devices." The only thing coming up is SAMSUNG Android Phone. i click and right click the ADB for that and when i run through the process to change the driver the google one isnt listed even after viewing "All Devices"

Hello, tanks for the video. It all woked but I have a problem. I am trying to unlock the startup. I have done all that you explained and now I see "Android adb interface", BUT it has an error mark and it says "This device cannot start. (Code 10) A request for the USB BOS descriptor failed", so I still cannot connect wit the device when I try to unlock it (HTC One S). Do you have any suggestions about what to do? I have used different usb ports and cables, just in case.
