One Young World | Ottawa Tourism

From September 28th to October 1st, Ottawa was on the international stage, and welcomed 1,300 delegates aged 18 to 30 from over 196 countries for the One Young World summit. The annual summit brought together the world’s most valuable young talent—backed by the One Young World Counsellors, such as Kofi Annan, Bob Geldof, Professor Muhammed Yunnus, Mary Robinson, Cher, Emma Watson, Mark Tewksbury and many more —to debate, formulate and share innovative solutions to the pressing issues the world faces. Over 200 national and international media outlets attended and brought worldwide attention our city and the delegates as they highlighted and tackled urgent global issues.
