Unearthed SF: Innovating with Caterpillar

#UnearthedSF 2016 took place at Galvanize in San Francisco from 23-25 September. The Hackathon saw tech entrepreneurs come together for 54 hours to tackle challenges from BHP Billiton and Caterpillar. For Caterpillar, this was their first experience at the Unearthed Hackathon, led internally by their Digital Division who gathered data relevant to industry challenges for the participants at the hackathon to problem solve on.

Team Hermes, who worked on the Caterpillar challenge, walked away with 2nd Prize, People's Choice Award, and a chance to showcase their winning solution via a video presentation at MINExpo (26-28 September).
