Dozens of Fresno State students and community members were out in protest on Saturday.

They demanded the resignation of former university president and current Cal State University Chancellor, Dr. Joseph Castro.

The display came just days after a report from USA Today surrounding former Fresno State President Joseph Castro.

The story alleges that Castro mishandled sexual misconduct cases involving an administrator at the university.

The reason why CSU employees are able to get away with their wrongs for so long is because all of the CSU campuses police themselves!! Each CSU campus has its own CSU police department. Each CSU campus police department receives their annual budget from the university that they serve on. The CSU police department protects the universities brand image and employees more than the innocent vulnerable students. This needs to change!! Students pay a lot of money to attend CSU's. Students deserve a fair and balanced police department to service them. Not a police department that receives it's annual budget from university and as a result seems to be better at protecting the CSU image than innocent vulnerable students. Conflict of interest between the CSU system and the CSU Police Department!!! Our children, our future, the students need a police department that is fair and balanced and that will put student safety over the CSU systems fake brand image!!!
