I'm a second language speaker and I was struggling with the GED math portion. I
graduated from high school years ago in my country and I forgot most of the math exercises. I went to a technical college to graduate as a nurse and at the end of the program they told me since I had a foreign high school diploma, I had to remediate math, reading and writing. It was a real nightmare for me because they weren't gonna submit my name to the board of nursing to be able to take the Nclex at least that I pass the reading, writing and math portion of the test. I pass the reading and writing in the first try, but I didn't pass the math, but after watching all your videos, I finally passed the math portion of the GED. I'm so happy and grateful because I know it was God and of course your videos what helped me to pass. I was able to complete all the questions on the test. It's like you're giving the answers for the test. The calculator tips help me in most of the exercises and help me to save a lot of time. Thank you so much. I wish I can tell to all these students out there that are struggling to pass the math to watch your videos!

I am completely mind blown by your techniques. I have been studying for my GED using YouTube channels, math being my last test to complete. Although math is my favorite subject, I could not grasp ALL the formulas in such a short amount of time. I came across your channel yesterday and in less than 24 hours, you taught me how to do MOST of these algebra problems on my calculator, saving me so much time and work. 18:27 Instead of sketching a grid, you can use the slope of a line formula, which is (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1). You get this formula on the formula sheet, so you don't have to memorize it to solve Open your Ti-30xs calculator, press the fraction button, and plug in (-1, 2) and (5, 4). The number that comes first is the x-axis, and the number that comes second is the y-axis, so in the points (-1, 2), the -1 is the x-axis and the 2 is the y-axis. The same for (5, 4). 5 is the x-axis and 4 is the y-axis. Now to plug these in, you put the y-axis first from the points (-1, 2) and (5, 4), which is 2 from the first point and then 4 from the second point, and then you put the x-axis, which is -1, and then 5; it should look like this: 2-4/-1-5. This has to be in fraction form; enter this and you get 1/3.
