2:40 before he even hits a full chord. intense beautiful meltdown. performance with the power of skills to back it up. some of the most dangerous fun out there. i like how she creeps down the steps and all the photographers and camera personal look like they are cautiously stalking a tiger in the wild. she takes a step forward and they all take a step to the side. she takes another step forward and they stop dead in their tracks. the level of simmering energy here is simply off the scale; Chernobyl by ten; helicopters shredding in the air; 'end of the night'... blood drying in the creeks and crevices... the girl friend we all think we want/the one we never survive.

my opinion is that every record is different, so record B inst better than record A or C. I just like one more than other, but doesnt mean that the rest is bullshit because is not. Every artist that make one record different than the next and still the same, deserve all of my respect. I guess its hard... mostly bands make different records and sounds like another band, I dont (btw sorry 'bout my english guys)

i cant really explain it, but i agree with you, they're so different now. i think the first 2 albums were great, third was not bad and forth was just unappealing to me. i liked her a lot more when she wore t-shirts and chain smoked on stage, how it was just her and hotel, the chemistry between them, the tension... all so evident when they performed on stage..i dont feel the same way watching any of their recent vids or listening to any of their new music.

Their last GREAT album was No Wow and their last GOOD album was Midnight Boom.
I don't know who these people are but they're not The Kills I knew and loved. I'm just glad I saw them live when they were still great.
But that's just my opinion...

I thought it was amazing. The only thing I dont like is them using drummers now. Its always been Hotel & VV. Thats how it should stay.
