>Jankos and Caps kicked Rekkles
>Almost ended Rekkles career
>Rekkles join T1 academy
>Rekkles win worlds as sub, Jankos no team, Caps stuck at swiss stage

T1 said it was because of Rekky's experience, his ability to play 2 roles, and being European. Picking Rekky was a comfort pick.

He's T1 family member not just some another player which was stated many times during this year.
And Faker plays a lot of chess with him - in post match press-conference he even said that instead of resting and food he wants to play more chess. What a GOAT lmao

I feel like this statement is a bit unfair to Rekkles. Whether he’s actually playing or not, I believe he brings a positive impact to the team.

its funny that the Korean/T1 fanbase just vibes with the fact that rekkles is with the team, is happy about every piece of content in which they see him with the team and the western fanbase memes him or sometimes you see really unhinged comments. like rekkles didn't even act like he is a world champion now lmao

As a Korean, we absolutely love Rekkles, we love his professionalism as well as his urge to evolve and better himself. We love that he's trying to learn the language and what he brings to the team.
For opposing coaches Rekkles is a nightmare. Actually in league going against a team like T1 itself is a nightmare as all their players have a huge champ pool, but throwing in Rekkles in there? ABSOLUTE HELL. Not does he have a large champ pool, but he also excels in multiple positions and has a different play style from the other typical Korean players. For coaches trying pull out all possibilities for a counter, this tangent of a player just increases the workload so much, Rekkles as a sub it puts pressure on them.

This statement make 0 sense. They brought about 15 Korean guys with them (you can see their whole team during celebration ceremony) but can't bring 1 more ? It's fucking joke. I think they brought Rekky cause it's win-win for both their team brand as well as his personal brand with all the additional media coverage they both getting from it. He's also most expirienced player on Academy team as well so there were no reason to no bring him. Money is the least deciding factor there EVEN if they didn't paid for him (im sure they did). That's so unprofessional to say this shit, get real

they brought him because hes insanely talented and a good person

They usually put Sky as their Sub he's their coach so they don't need to bring extra anyway. So they brought Reckless to bring more people than they did last year.

I believe it is also due to the fact that he can play multiple lanes if there is an emergency to swap any one of the main five so he acts as the perfect sub tho highly unlikely that he will be needed and it wont surprise me if they bring him in for next few tourneys too

When the best team in the world wants him as their sub in, who are you to say otherwise? He gets a change of scenery and a better more respectful team!!

Get that salt outta your mouth dude. Also mention the fact that he is good enough to play multiple lanes. You think T1 don't have the budget to fly in people they need? Traveling easier yes but it's his skill that earns him that spot.

Rekkles joined the best team in the world T1, accepted and welcomed as a family, respected as a player. LEC can suck it for making him suffer back then. Rekkles is happy now and he deserves it

Don't know who this is, but just sounds like a guy who applied to T1 academy and then got the "unfortunately you weren't selected this time" email.

Whatever the reason Rekkles is T1's SIXMAN, it's only good for T1. He can AD and SUP, so if something happens to Gumayusi or Keria, he's the perfect sub for T1. Also, he's like the Faker of Europe. Even though the tournament is held in Europe, T1 is cheered on so much that it feels like home ground. All Korean T1 fans love Rekkles, and no one ignores him because he plays in the second division. A person who doesn't challenge can't criticize a person who does. This is because the world is moving forward due to those who take on challenges.. I heard Rekkles had a bad breakup with G2. I don't know the details. (I wish someone would tell me.) He's a great player and will leave Korea someday, but I hope he has a good breakup with T1. I hope he can compete with Keria in the first division and win the championship together as the sixth man next year. (Let's make his own skin next year.)
