I first learned about Duran's Waltz when my friend's daughter, who was playing this song on the piano, sent me a video. I was listening to various people's performances on YouTube and came across your channel. Your piano playing is very natural and charming. It looks like a lot of fun.

I used to love the piano and played it every day, but after my husband died of an illness I became depressed, became bedridden and was no longer able to play the piano. It was a very, very painful experience. Seven years have passed since then, and I've finally started to feel like I want to play the piano again.
I've decided that the first piece I'll practice will be Durand's Waltz. I'm looking forward to what's to come.

I have regretfully forgotten to play this lovely piece as it was my first lesson I took in my younger years, listening as you play it flawlessly with ease and with feeling is like magic brings me back memories, Sir Harry, you are truly splendid, thank you very much

It was really a LOVELY Classical Music, " The First Waltz" By Aug, Durand, that my Mom taught me when I was Little girl. What a Fantastic playing Harry! Thanks a Million.

Oh so sehr sehr schön, Dankeschön, wollte das Stück hören, das meine Oma oft gespielt hat, wenn ich fragte "Oma Spiel mal wieder was, jetzt ist der Raum auf nicht mehr so kalt im März. Dann spielte sie noch "Komm ein Vogel geflogen" und wie sangen das Unser Liederbuch (Bilder von Paul Hey) durch.
