I have no idea why this band never became as big as The Specials. A record deal with better distribution and airplay in the early 90's, the sky's the limit. The way things are is one of the best of all time!

i remember 1986 getting out of lewes prison the hotknives were playing brighton pavillion great night, i was 17 and taken under there wings, gary marshall legend and mick and natalie coulson, went back to garys after the gig given bottles of holsten pils lol and tbh they saved me from a life of crime legends

Its good to see old friends, I remember when I went down to scout them for Skank Records in the late 80's
