I've experienced that kind of recognition three times in my life: once with a cat, once with a dog, and once with a baby. It's hard to explain but I saw the instant startled recognition in their eyes and body language and it gave me an eerie feeling that I knew them somehow in a different lifetime. They each had a hard time having to go be walked away by their owner/parent and held my gaze until we couldn't see each other anymore. They had that look like they were supposed to be with me but they weren't mine so there's nothing anybody could do about it. It sounds so stupid but it's one of those things that probably only makes sense to me because those moments were so powerful.

In the 80's I had an experience like Emmett's: I was over thirty, unmarried and always wanted to marry and have 3 daughters. One morning I woke up with memmories of having been married and raising a single daughter over about 15 years. It was so real that I felt all day like I had lost them as in an accident. My heart felt broken. I recall no names or daily incidents, just the feelings. Jump twelve years in real life and I get married. In 1997 my wife gave birth to our daughter, and due to medical issues, we have no more children!

I once had an experience like Matthew had at a group job interview. There was a guy there who I was convinced I knew from somewhere. He also felt that connection. We went through our lives trying to work out where we had met but it appeared as if our lives had never intersected. We grew up hundreds of miles apart, never attended the same schools, worked in the same places or knew the same people. I never thought of it as fate or mystical, just one of those odd things that happen. After the interview, we went our separate ways never to meet again

A few years ago I was at the kitchen sink washing dishes by hand, the scoured I was using was a standard dish scoured you know the type, rough green on one side sponge on the other, I was scrubbing away when my hubby called me from the other room I turned and looked over my shoulder then carried on washing dishes but the scouring pad wasn’t in the bowl, I hadn’t removed my hands from the sink at all and my scrubber had just disappeared into thin air, tbh it freaked me out, I told my husband and we searched the kitchen even the bin but it was nowhere to be seen. There was no explanation. A week later I’m in the kitchen again I opened a cupboard, now this was a food cupboard and I don’t store my scouters with food, a scourer fell out of the cupboard not from any shelf that I could see either it’s as if it was free falling it was weird and it was wet and soapy, I just was amazed and I still have no explanation but it freaked me out, I honestly don’t think I’d be able to handle knowing the truth about this stuff.

When you have been with a narcissist you realise you were living in a parallel world that wasn't even real. They say things happened that never did and make you question your own reality. They also say things that did happen never did. Crazy 😅

I called a work colleague on her work phone. Person who answered the phone didn't know who I was trying to contact; wasn't even in the same profession; and said her phone was a new work phone.

Checked the number I had just dialled - it was correct. Called the number again - reached my colleague.

I had a strange experience when i was ten. One morning i went out, all off the neigbourhouses was gone, it
was only forrest, and when i went into the forrest, i saw a nativewoman collecting mushrooms.She had very old clothes, just like in the 16th century.I ran home and didn' dare go out before the next day.Then everything was normal again.Perhaps i went into a paralell dimention ?

I think the last story was about reincarnation, and these two people had spent a previous life together, and so recognized one another in their present lives. I totally believe in this. 😊
