Daily Light Devotional Books from TBS

Today I’m taking a good look at this marvellous series of devotional scripture reading books from TBS. Check them out on the TBS website, they’re amazing value for money and will add to your devotional reading throughout the year.

Your review as usual really gets to the point. It occurred to me that Daily Light could be used in place of the regular readings for private devotions with the 1662 Book of Common Prayer. I have used an NKJV bible for the Morning and Evening readings previously. Your video has inspired me to give Daily Light a try for the scripture readings.

I bought the slip-cased black calfskin version (~$49 US as I recall), which is the same size as the brown vinyl boards hardback cover you reviewed. The title page says there is also a burgundy leather edition. I ordered mine from TBS Canada since it was not available from TBS US. Where it was printed is not stated. I was reading it daily for awhile but fell by the wayside. Your review has inspired me to “take up and read” it again. Thanks!

The "Comfort Text" (Collins Iona blowup) bibles I bought from TBS some time ago are also printed by CPI. It's rare to see a bible printed in the UK - even rarer than the US, since some el-cheapo ESVs are actually produced here.
