Even Stone Cold himself has admitted he regrets the “what?” chants. They’re so annoying and can ruin a promo and oftentimes disrespectful especially when the crowd chants it to a foreign superstar like Shinsuke Nakamura or Asuka

Poor Roman at that time I hated the boos and what's! And it wasn't even Romans fault it was Vince's fault! Imagine knowing every time you walked into a ring for years this is the reaction you'd get! But you didn't see Roman bitching about it on social media like a little girl he just manned up and got on with it! Roman for that attitude alone earned my respect and where he is now he deserves every second of his success! He's the epitome of what being a professional means! Love you Roman keep on smashing!

To be fair a lot of the times the WWE crowd were very unfair and major props to Roman for keeping his cool and keeping things professional throughout all the unwanted and disgusting hate he received for so long.
