Spyro Reignited Trilogy: Why Toggling Voices Isn't An Option

Some people want all the original content toggleable in Reignited. At that point, why not just play the original games? Nothing is stopping you from playing them.

Might as well just play the originals if you're gonna ask everything from them to be in Reignited. I don't see why we can't go back to the originals and still enjoy them even with Reignited's existence. I still play the originals on my Vita when I'm on the bus to work and I still love them just as much.

Well you're right.
Apart from the difficulties that supposed to include the classic voices, it's true that the toggling wouldn't sync correctly with the new animation and facial expressions, and the same case goes with why the original Spyro model is not in game.
Spyro Reignited is like the same game but a whole new experience.
The work that supposed to include the original voice clips could even delay the game more that before.
If we want classic voices with classic soundtrack, we could just play the originals in the PS1 or those downloadable in PS3 or Vita.

Great video! I'm still stunned that people wanted this as an option. While it'd be kinda cool, it just simply wouldn't be able to work, all things considered. Tom said it the best.

Guy's there's solution to this problem. Just sit down and play your original copy's of Spyro!
The only thing I really miss is Greg Berger as Hunter.

Well said! I know nothing of editing videos and audio, but even I know the reasons the original voice lines can't be used, due to the editing it would require to fit the new cutscene lengths. That and the hardware limitations back then makes the originals sound less high quality. I wish fans would understand this. At least music works because it's just background music playing on its own with no interaction to the characters.

Another great video Miharu. That's a good point, I mean it'd be interesting for such a feature. But ultimately I just wouldn't see it working. Tom Kenny explained it in the best way possible.

I agree with this 100%, although it would've been if they had a mode where you could switch between Tom Kenny and Carlos Alazraqui in spyro 1.Obviously rerecorded, as when i think spyro, I don't really think of Tom's Coolboi voice for the purple boi i think of Carlos's raspy bratty voice. but yes even though Tom's lines fit better in reignited, i'd still like a raspy bratty spyro as the first spyro i played was the OG spyro 1.

I like the new voice acting And I can understand why the old voices arnt on there. if I really wanted to hear the old acting I would just do what idoesstuff said. And play the old trilogy .
But that being said. It would be nice to flip through old sound design. Like the old running, gliding, and head bashing stuff.i do miss the old sound of a rynoc fluttering through the wind as it whimpers in a weird bubbly fashion

Not to mention the fact that they'd probably have to pay extra money to any actor from the originals who didn't didn't play anyone in Reignited just to use the old audio of their voice.

The original voice wasnt that good but it had some charm in it, i think that it would give a lot of hard work to use the original voice audio in the Reignited Trilogy and the new voice acting is a huge improvement compared to the original
