Someone's gotta take all the fluff out of post-secondary courses. Find a way to make those courses as lean as possible so prices can come down and students can find employment ASAP. Because while college educated people earn more on average, does that factor-in the money they could have made during their time out of the workforce while at school? Or tuition costs?

On net, I believe it's more complex.

There will always be hordes of people flocking to these "brand name" institutions even if employers are widening their net and considering talent from other colleges/universities. The brand integrity is just that strong. However, this is positive news for kids who went to an "off-brand" school that has a strong program in their chosen field. Recruiting talent from a broader swath of institutions is such a boon for most organizations anyway. It encourages diversity of thought and approach, which leads to innovation.

Corporations themselves need to get out of politics and wokeness.

More like quality of education across public colleges are improving to match or exceed the small "Ivy League" colleges. American colleges aren't just Ivy League, its all the college across the nation.

Our firm has set it's resume crawler to just reject Ivy League applications and a host of other schools that have been churning out "activists." They're just more trouble than they're worth. Endless bs with HR, potential lawsuits over every percieved slight, etc, etc. We never even see the application.

Best place we've found to recruit is the state AG schools. AG business grads have enough knowledge about basic business to function at a foundational level, they're teachable, and they're farm kids, which means they have certain grounding in reality.

This big conclusion off a survey of 300 people? I don’t think this is numeric proof at all. Much closer to anecdotal. Please widen the survey would have been an interesting story.

If Americas elite colleges are so great why do we have to import people from India
Why has the country been in decline for 50 years
We need serious analysis
West Point is great but USA loses every war etc

I heard horrible things about the grads. How stuck up they are. But who cares, it is only a fraction of people who pretend to be smart. Dream school. Lol.
