I have the Watch6 but not the classic one. I didn't see the animation of shaking the watch to extract water, and now I can't find videos or images showing that animation, and I'm scared to try the waterproof test because my Watch6 I love so much might fail.

Whatever you do do not go swimming with it in the ocean because that's how I broke my galaxy4 watch and had to buy the 6

How about in a steaming hot shower for 30 minutes? or even bath.

I cleaned it 3min in ultrasonic bath. It worked well

this is not a realistic water test. Put it in a pool and swim with it for an hour and see how it holds up

I got this watch, and i turned my water lock before went kn the pool but got broken as soon my hand went kn the water:( i took it to samsung store and cost me alot to get it fix

dont go swimming. my watch goes broken after 3 min swimming in the pool. its a big risk

not informative. on my Samsung galaxy s3 frontier the screen started to glitch after the 3rd vacation at sea, died after the 4th. It will not fail immediately; you need to test long-term exposure.
