Wow imagine if ed didn’t have that medical condition. Instead of watching him on YouTube we would be watching him on National television that’s a crazy thought

Who knew Ed really is 1 in a Million. An has the knees to prove it.

Love that color. Reminds me of the Ford color Reef blue or 93 cobra color teal blue.

Got the other knee "through some shrewd negotiation." Classic.

So if I get this right, Ed has damage history, and was repaired with aftermarket parts

I love how Ed can take some of the worst life experiences and verbally articulate them like an expert witness in a court proceeding. I was gone in laughter when he got to the part where he said, "You know, you really ought to calm down that response a little bit because it's rather horrifying from my end of the phone." LOL

Ed, I had OCD in my ankle so I feel your pain! It developed from years of skateboarding, hockey and snowboarding in my teenage years. I had Dr.Brian McGoey in Toronto to perform the surgery, who is one of the best specialists for this locally. After the surgery, it took me a few years to get back to where I was but I have been super thankful that I did it.
Sorry for the long post, but as rare as OCD is, I had to mention it as it was suprising to hear from a channel I love. Take care!

Wow I had the same exact problem in my right knee, had surgery in 2009 and went on to play college ball before having more knee problems and another surgery in 2013 that ended my career, crazy to hear someone else from Atlanta had the same issue. But great videos Ed, love the content!

It's always fascinating when things like that happen (or as I would probably say "that was cool"). I figure surgeons do the best they can with the knowledge available at the time and as time goes on, some procedures are totally scrapped for something that hopefully works better. Glad your knees are still working. And I always love the car content too.

Might be a one in a million ailment but around here it is at least 2/651k because I also was diagnosed with osteochondritis dissecans at the age of 11. I didn't need a full knee replacement but after surgery to encourage new bone growth and to remove some peices of bone floating around in the joint I made a full recovery. In the end I spent around 2 years very limited in what I could do. It's interesting to hear your experience! Thanks for sharing!

great story and a beautiful color. I think special cars that are mainly driven in summertime deserve a special color to make them stand out of all those drab looking resale silver and black colored cars. It makes driving those cars feel even more special.
My first car i ever restored was a 1973 bmw 2002 with round tail lights and after a hard choice between Inca-Orange and Golf-yellow i had it resprayed in golf-yellow, a kind of yellow so intensely bright you needed sunglasses just to look at it on a bright sunny day. Bees were drawn to it! And the onlookers too. in fact i often got remarks that i/my car got spotted on the road. I often regretted selling that car. Fun times!
