This airplane has been around since 1964 and Beechcraft continues to tweak it trying to keep it viable. I was an FSI King Air instructor and Director of Training for their King Air Division, 1978-1984 and flew and instructed in every model from the original 65-90 to the B200. I loved all King Airs in those days and even flew the B200 as a corporate pilot. I subsequently spent 29 years flying for a major airline but I am now retired and flying the single engine turboprop Pilatus PC-12NG. If your airplane has a PT6 turbine engine, there really is no need for a second engine as with the King Air 90. The single engine turboprop shows what a dinosaur this airplane really is.

I think if they make a single engine version of the C90 airframe with a big PT6 in the nose, they will have probably the best single engine turboprop on the market.

I'd like to know what the advantage of this aircraft is over a jet, especially since the cost are very close.I absolutely would love to have this plane but a Citation Mustang would work as well.

I worked in the King Air factory in the 70s and 80s. This is not the same 90 model we built then.
