I didn't know Merritt until I saw "Unbelievable" and she had me from her very first line. She's perfect in that series

the scene with wever in the diner with that creepy guy was like oscar worthy shit IMO. not one word was uttered on her part yet the way that played out was so perfect. when she finally got up to pay and reached for her wallet by pulling her jacket aside to subtly show her badge. oh man, i had to pause the show just because i was like GET IT GIRLLLL.

Merritt is so sweet, incredibly smart and well-spoken. When asked a serious question, she considers her answers very carefully. I just discovered her and I'm so fascinated by her...

Unbelievable was unbelievable! One of the best shows I've seen so far. I cried alot during the whole episodes, because I could relate to the women, having myself being sexually abused all my life starting at the age of 9. I was also raped. It was sometimes hard to watch but I really needed to know that Marie would finally get justice. This movie made me cry and feel for all the women that goes through this but it also made me cry for myself, especially since I only started to really talk about my assaults two years ago. Wow, what an amazing and well written show.

imagine being the person who thinks it is necessary to tell Toni Collette to be badass and bitchin as if that isn't already written in her dna

This show was so outstanding. I cried so much but was also compelled to see, hear, know the truth. So many women go through a private silent hell that just goes on and on and on and it is UNBELIEVABLE where the people who are supposed to help, instead judge, doubt, categorise and re-traumatise, until the person needing help is completely silenced for fear of more unjust, unfounded but extremely potent attack and loss. Thank you for sharing the truth. The truth can set people free.

I have to add and confess I want to be "Duvall" in every way, in fact I've been sharing with my son whom I binged watched UNBELIEVABLE with, that I am consciously trying to talk in a similar softer demeanor daily because of the beautiful graceful Duvall's character.

This is the best double act in a detective procedural for years. Both ladies were at the top of their game for this one.

Muriel’s Wedding is one of the best films ever made and Australia’s greatest export imo. Toni Collette is a gift.

ohhh I just adored the Detective Duvall. Such a beautiful nuanced character played perfectly by Wever. Simultaneously tough, strong, determined yet soft-spoken, kind-hearted, warm and honest.

Merritt seems pretty shy. 🥰 Kudos to both of these extremely talented actresses.
