ASC T-128 Tornado Siren Test, Butler WI, 1 Minute Alert, 5/8/2024

This particular Wednesday, I had taken off early from work to record the Mobil Directo in Milwaukee and then headed home. Shortly after, I got a message from Jeff that people were meeting up at the new T-128 in Butler, literally a few blocks up the street from my house, so I headed up to join. I had already heard it for tornado warnings the week prior, but I figured it would be good to meet everyone and see the fresh install.
It was pretty awesome to see the divisive new horn design (I guess I don't hate it, but the old ones look better) with a bunch of other enthusiasts. After the test, It turned into a long convo with a few others about all sorts of siren-related topics - long to the extent that I got sunburnt from standing around in the parking lot. Good times!
Please excuse the low quality on display here. While I absolutely cringe every time I see this sort of garbage footage from my old S5IS used for a main shot, it won't be the case anymore. To clarify, I do have a few old Milwaukee vids that will make their way here, but new recordings are being done with much better equipment. Thanks for watching, I hope you enjoy!

Date and Location: Wednesday, May 8th, 2024, Upper Frontier Park in my home of Butler, WI in Waukesha County
Test Time: Wednesdays at 2 pm April-September, 2 pm Second Wednesday the rest of the year
Signal: ~1 minute alert
Equipment: Wide shot: Samsung A545G, Zoomed in shot, stills and audio: Canon Powershot S5IS (ew!)
