C5 Corvette Cipher Auto Seat Brackets Review. I received my Cipher Auto seat brackets for my C5 Corvette. Unfortunately, the Cipher Auto C5 Seat Brackets are produced for both the C5 Corvette and C6 Corvette. There are no modifications required for these Cipher Auto seat brackets if you own a C6 Corvette. but since I own a C5 Corvette a little shaving is required. I have to remove the seat belt bracket that is designated for the C6 Corvette in order for these seat brackets to fit in the C5 Corvette.

Finally got the brackets in yesterday. I have some stuff to finish up around the house and then they'll be installed. Hopefully get them in during the week since we're supposed to be getting snow ❄

Maybe get them installed this weekend before the bad weather hits. So the new seats have a manual slide operation? Put some tape on the bracket to protect it when cutting off the C6 side mount.

I always used to hear the biggest complaints of the C5 were the seats 🤪. I really didn’t have any real complaints with mine though. Those brackets look really sturdy bro. Awaiting install

Just an FYI, the Cipher seats are just the cheap chinese amazon seats, with their own stitching and leather patching.
