If you just bitmap it along the z axis using the right combination of algorithms, any image can be zoomed and enhanced infinitely. You obviously can't use the mouse because it only works in 2 dimensions. Everyone knows this.

Best of all is the 2Mp streetcams where they zoom into someones eye-reflection to see an image of what that person sees... amazing technology :p

*Enhance* this image. *Zoom* in on the video, *rotate* about the *spatial z-axis* by 75 degrees and apply the *noise canceling algorithms* to the reflection in her eye.

Go *full screen* and *rotate*, apply the *reverse spherical bitmapping filter*, *declutter* your room, and apply an *unsharp mask* with a low radius.

Let's see if we can *isolate* the dishes from the various food residues...good, now just turn up the *contrast* a bit and apply a *bezier curve* to the *rasterized* form of the image; with the right equipment you can apply some *bitblitting* to the output and *run the vacuum* through the family room.

Most of these are shit, but not MacGyver, he can make it work (if he has an image enhancer that can bitmap), he's the real man.

Funniest part is it actually is possible (though greatly exaggerated in TV and Movies) to enhance a freeze frame from a video by splicing/stacking adjacent frames. Programs like Registax can do this but it won't turn a grainy image into HD, it just makes it slightly less blurry. Doesn't really work with photos, and rotating is straight out for anything short of some kind of Star Trek/Blade Runner holopicture.
