This feels like the Daniel Jones version of GM'ing. You have all the signs telling you this is not the long term solution, and instead of doing a clean sweep and cutting ties to start a true rebuild, you double down and over commit. This is set up for failure. If we have a losing record next year, similar to this year it's going to be so much worst.

Schoen and Daboll are not the main issue.

John Mara and the Mara family are the main issue. They run the GIANTS as a family business, and you cannot win in the NFL like that anymore. It’s 2025, not 1985. The organization needs to get a lot smarter.

Daniel Jones messed this organization up badly. John Mara, and circumstance were behind that decision.

The correct way to do this is to build up the trenches and the roster depth and wait on drafting the QB. Get a younger veteran QB through Free Agency or Trade, draft the best players available and move forward. Forcing the QB is not the way to go here.

The true stupidity of this argument is that IF the coach/GM end up performing well next year, and keeping them ends up being a good decision…nobody who’s pissed rn is gonna admit they wanted them gone 😂 nobody’s gonna come out “hey I guess the owner made a good decision, I was wrong”. This is a mature, reasoned decision by Mara/Tisch to not throw the organization into utter chaos by lashing out and firing everyone again. It may work out. It may not. But you two guys always want to jump into the fire and wipe everything out and never actually build anything - because neither of you are very mature. They took the more difficult road in staying the course. I applaud the owners for not taking the easy way out.

Outside of Nabers and a few others, the team is basically unwatchable. Schoen hit 1 of 3 drafts. Maybe he'll hit again? They need an infusion of talent in the worst way. They need an impact player with the #3 draft pick, bottom line

Mara said he's not happy with how the defense played, he's not happy with the current roster and that he wasn't happy with Dabolls play calling...then what the hell did these two do to warrant another year exactly? He literally said they haven't done anything right since they had been hired. The only reasons I can think of are that 1- he doesn't want to pay for another coach and GM that are no longer here, 2- he doesn't want to hire a whole new staff again because it's a pain in the ass.

This team has a high pick in a weak QB class and about 60 million in cap with 30 free agents on the current roster... this team will be just as bad next year, what's the excuse gonna be next season?
