Unplugged:
Think of all the things you use your smartphone for: contacts, messaging, GPS, alarm clocks, social media, etc. One could say it's hard to survive without one nowadays. NewsChannel9 unplugged one of its own from their smartphone for nine days as part of an experiment to find out what one does without a phone. Throughout the duration of this special report called 'Unplugged,' NewsChannel9's Estefania Seyffert documented her journey without her cell. Her struggles included knowing what time it was, finding other means of communication, and researching the old fashioned way. Her phone, under the care of the News Director, was also documenting it's journey without an owner via Twitter through its own Twitter account.
