Snails eating is the cutest thing ever. When I had snails they’d nibble my hand and it felt so strange. I loved watching them eat and seeing their eyes droop cause they loved it

No, it didn’t give me nightmares. I used to pour salt on snails as a child, because my neighbour thought it was fun and she taught me to do it.
Watching this video made me realise they are sentient beings, and are very cute harmless creatures. I can’t turn back time to undo what I did, but I can always teach my children to appreciate nature and respect little things like snail.

I keep giant African land snails as pets. The reason their skin is so "knobbly" is because it helps them trap and absorb moisture from the air, without which they would dry up. I think they're cute, especially their expressive and responsive faces. They're also a low maintenance pet. I adore dogs but daren't adopt one because of the potential heartache and expense.
