I solved it in my mind a little differently. Being E the midpoint, the area of the triangle ABF =4DEF=20.The yellow quadrilateral consists of 2 triangels :CEF=DEF=5 and triangle BCF=ABF =20. They are similar, because AB=BC, BF is common, and the angle between =45. Therefor the yellow area=25. Triangel BCD =30. Triangle ABD =BCD=30 AFD =30-20 =10. Greetings.
