i’m from italy, i remember in middle school my only friend was from philippines and she was so solar and kind, i was a really quiet and shy kid and she always gave me compliments and try to make me feel included. i can still remember her warmth. random thought this vid made me remind of her, i hope she’s okay somewhere now

I married a Filipina 27 years ago. What an absolute joy and privilege it is to share my life with her. All her family is absolutely wonderful. Full of happiness and gratitude. I’ve visited the phillipines. It is a poor country, however the people are filled with happiness and hope. It is their faith and strong family bonds that make their lives fulfilled.

I love how their teenagers still playing with the rain... Makes me remember my childhood where everything is mostly will be fine and worry free.

They still look innocent and pure hearted compare to nowadays kids in my neighborhood.
