For those wondering about some of the mods being used, I recognize some of them from other mod packs like the 'All of Fabric' mods or 'Better Minecraft'. The cool biomes & new wood types are from 'Oh The Biomes You'll Go'. There's 'Hex Casting' for that scroll Scott found. The mount is from 'Mystic Mounts'. Those cool black flowers are from 'Botania'. There's some that I don't know but here's a few I recognized right away if you want to get into modded minecraft.

I have an Theory.. the reason Scott is participating in the tournament is because he had someone close to him die.. specifically a boyfriend, based on the ‘what OUR dream house WOULD have been.’ Judging by the beginning we can also say he wants to get rid of the corruption that coincides with his magic. With these two ideas we can bring something together.

Some time ago, Scott had fallen in love with someone, they were extremely close until he mysteriously died. I’d expect it was a freak accident caused by Scott’s magic, causing some sort of survivor’s guilt and (sense his magic is known for raising the dead) obligation (and MAYBE obsession) to bring him back to make amends. Unfortunately, Scott is inexperienced and/or either lost his ability to cast severe magic during his denial period.

This maybe an obvious assumption but that’s all I have rn..
Either way, I’m excited to see where this is going!!

Here’s my analysis of Scott’s character rn.

They were a person who had lost a lover to the cold hands of death.
He confined himself to that small cottage in the deep forest and started messing around with dark magics and necromancy.
His main goal about why he wants to win this game is so that by being the supreme witch, he will have enough power to not just turn his lover undead, but to instead fully revive him.

20:00 as a irl witch, wands usually are just sticks you find in your favourite woods! The you can attach a crystal to it using glue wax or twine etc, you can also use crystal wants if your drawn to it. What matters the most is you have have to feel a connection with it.
