Jagmeet Singh highlights NDP priorities heading into new Canadian parliament

NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh had his first caucus meeting on Wednesday and held a press conference afterward outlining his party's priorities heading into the new parliament under a Liberal minority government.

Singh's NDPs lost 15 seats in the October 21st election.

So Scheer gained a whole pile of seats and his party is talking about replacing him, and Jagmeet lost 45% of his party's seats and he's still leader????  

Basically, the NDP are afraid to ditch Jagmeet solely because he is a visible minority. If this was anybody else they would be gone. So for the NDP, it's not about concrete results and performance, it's about virtue signalling.  Ignore the will of the people, make excuses and judge others.  The voters were wrong, the system was wrong... ugh.

Well I have a questions for you "progressives". Why do you think it's so progressive supporting a leader who is obviously so dogmatically religious? You certainly wouldn't have chosen a fundamentalist christian would you? Religion at it's core rejects factually based logic. It's completely irrational. And to be progressive we are suppose glorify these cults? Tolerate yes, suspend criticism, absolutely not.

Quebec has been moving away from regressive religious beliefs for 5 or 6 decades. They are rejecting religion and embracing secular society. Why would they vote for Scheer or Singh?
