TIC2401 Week2: Number Systems and the MIPS Architecture

In this lesson, we wrap up the topic of Number Systems with a
discussion on Negative Numbers. Concepts like Sign-and-Magnitude and 2's complement are discussed.
We also review the IEEE 754 Floating Point Format.

For the topic on MIPS, we get introduced to the concept of Assembly
Language Coding and how it relates to higher-level languages. We also understand how some basic arithmetic and logical instructions are written for the MIPS processor.
