-- This is a bittersweet video.
It's the one year anniversary of Scout passing.
This video is me saying goodbye, I travel to our old stomping grounds to cook up some bacon over the fire, like Scout and I used to do, and to say bye, while spreading some of his ashes at our favorite place, the place we spent the most time together.
Scout truly was my best friend, and I miss him dearly.

Pressed play. Started crying.
Anyone who’s ever owned a dog that has died knows, they are never just pets. They are family members.

Sending love bro.

"Leave it!" says Joe while Scout ignores him and tries to catch a falling tree... :)

I miss him too Joe. It’s ok man. He wasn’t “just a dog”. He was your dog. A special dog that you shared with all of us.

Seriously had a hard time watching felt like he was all of ours....and when you get that close to a pet its no different than losing a family member ....this video just hits different when you have been through this before and you can feel Joes

“He wasn’t my dog, he was all of ours.”

He’ll always be your dog, you were just generous enough to share him with us online

Fortunately the memories you two have are both cemented in memory and video. Those adventures yall had will always be here.
Take care of yourself man, it's never easy losing a four legged pal.

"I know he was just a dog." No Joe, they're never just dogs. They are our family, friend, protecter and more. Anyone who's ever truly loved a dog knows that they are so much more than just a dog. They hold a special place in our heart and they remain there even after they're gone.

My heart is with you. Scout was a wonderful dog, I loved watching him take the sticks. He was not just a dog he was a companion. It's ok to cry and love him. Thank you for sharing him with us.

The pain in your eyes as you scattered his ashes showed how important he was to you, and to all of us viewers. We love you scout, we love you joe, and yes I'm crying.

5:47 It couldn't be more perfect. You're literally following in someone's footsteps but really they're unknowingly following in yours and scouts.
