Hand Turned Spalted Maple Bowl with Colored Resin Inlay - Handmade Woodturned Bowl

This unique bowl measures slightly under 6" in diameter across the top. The base measures slightly above 4" diameter. It stands slightly under 2.5" tall.
This bowl was turned from a spalted maple wood blank with a routered groove in it. The groove was filled with epoxy resin that was tinted to a red, white, and blue color. The actual color of the resin may vary slightly from the photos - we have tried to capture the USA themed colors of the resin but it's hard to photograph the exact color. This bowl is finished with a thin coat of Total Boat tabletop epoxy (used for countertop finishing), so it is food safe for things such as candy or mints. However, it must be wiped clean only.
