The most underrated LEGO set

The Apollo 11 Lunar Lander is an underrated set. I like it when LEGO makes historic sets like this.

“It’s a little cramped” oh so it’s historically accurate as once the men were on the moon they realized they didn’t have enough room to put their suits on at the same time, they figured it out but still! Nice to see

This was well timed because my roof fell onto this set so I had to clean it and rebuild it today

That's by design; the inside of the LEM was only as big as a couple phone booths.

Not only is the texture of the moon good the surface is fine and powdery as well

I will always find it funny that lego uses the alantis helmets as the new space helmets. Like I get it it's a beautiful mold and if you didn't know what it is it works but it's still funny to me.

I need to pick up this set, I just wish they added some extra pieces to make the Lunar Rover for the later Apollo missions

The only thing that holds this set back is the mini figs. This could have been the perfect time to make new molds for more accurate astronaut suits, and it really upsets me that they’re using these massively inaccurate pieces. But still, this set is an absolute beauty.
