I have a BCT Fort XL trailer, paid 15700 fully loaded, 4 years ago. I camp anywhere between 20 to 35 days (35 days being the most I have). In watching this video, I appreciate very much how much of a bargain my trailer was. At the time I thought I was over spending, but it was just before the "Overlanding" hit the USA.

Great trailers. We purchased a nuCamp 400 Boon Dock Lite and are just completing a 3 month overland from FL to Deadhorse AK and return. Spending that much time in our trailer, in varying seasons and temperatures a couple of things jump out. Separate sleeping/eating areas are critical for those bad weather days. Large tires, sealed under carriage, and clearance are essential for off-road trips. Heating and A/C - the 400 has an ALDE heating system that runs off AC or propane. Same for the fridge; propane, solar, electric (the A/C can only run off electricity). We can carry 15 gals of fresh water internal and store about the same in black and gray. Two burner stove (propane) and when we have electricity we can run the microwave. Weighs in loaded around 3600, so you would need a full size SUV (our TV is a Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk). Final thing - the 400 has an indoor and outdoor shower and toilet. I'm not knocking any of these and I guess if we were younger we might opt for a roof tent, but at some point you're going to have to go to the bathroom and climbing down a ladder at night isn't fun. The smaller trailers that you basically sleep in would be good for one or two days, but by the end of the week, I think putting your clothes on while laying on your back will get old. As for price - some of those are expensive but the 400 isn't cheap either, cost you around $30k. Guess it comes down to your wallet, camping goals and what you want from the trailer. My wife wanted a/c and a bathroom and I wanted the option to take it off pavement and we had a budget.

The look on that ladies face when she was cutting through and the slide out shoves out in front of her is great, not that way lady!😂

That overkill trailer is overkill on the price for what little it has to offer

I remember when i use to off road camp we just took the back half of a old truck put independent axles on and built a Camper shell for it, Slept 3 people with room to stand in it and cook. all propane back before solar panels came out affordable and LED lights . I believe the cost then was like $500 total. Now a days i can't even think about doing off road anymore due to a Back injury the ability to walk to me is a tad bit more important then off roading. But even not going off road I like these a better choice then using a Teardrop trailer to camp in.

5 seconds later and that lady would've gotten destroyed by that slide out. 15:22

The gentleman giving you the tour for the Overkill off road camper/trailers definitely knew his products inside and out. Well versed.
$42, 000 is a bit steep for me, however, I’m sure I’m not their target market either. Cool to check out though, so thank you.

So behind Australian tech! Just check the suspension and hitch on a Patriot Camper model or the Opus Air camper trailer with inflatable tent and annex

one of the best indipendant reviews and best filmed, others fly around wanting to cover things but are so amateurish
your questions are also what the audience want to hear, so thanks KP Scotland

That $7200 camper is a RIP off! $7200?!! For that?! Pff. For a tent and a literally box on wheels. Unbelievable.

I was thinking about getting one. Thanks TFL for enlightening me. Think i'll stick to my 6x10 "offroad" trailer. Pop a tent on it, off the ground and im good 😁😁

Great walk around, I love seeing all the trailers and it was good to see my old Orange CVT trailer, I put a year plus of the testing on it, definitely a solid built trailer. I had many great adventures with it.

For just the basic cvt trailer at $7200 you can buy a 6x10 cargo trailer and build a full kitchen, generator, walk out ramp/deck with awning, and sleep 4 people.

Awesome video guys!!! Once again showing us badass camping/offroad gear. If I was gonna get a offroad camper, I would get the bruder xp6. Sleeps up to 6 adults, the suspension is outta this world. Gotta check them out!!! 👍👊

Thanks for a nice summary of a fairly wide selection of trailer options, along with their corresponding price.
No doubt, many people will balk at their price. Yet, any presentation of such trailers without mentioning their cost yields a video which has willfully omitted key information.
