A Kinetik Filterbank: Skulptur with Bram Bos

The best instruments I have made solved a problem for me, and my new filterbank Skulptur with Bram Bos is no different. It was designed for a very special performance with Ensemble Modern, and worked wonderfully there. Now, a much expanded final version is available on iOS and MacOS, this it what it can do.

Now that I've been playing with it for a while, you know what could be cool?: having the center freq of each band modulated as well. As it stands now, is a great tool, just feed it a loop with wide frequency content and perform over it. You can pull so much tonal variance of even the simplest soundscapes, lovely.

bought this today and love it! would be amazing to have a mode where you can enter your own frequency values (either in Hz or musical notes, and any number of bands up to 10) so you can really tune the tool to the piece you are playing or the source you are using... thanks again for an amazing tool Hainbach and Bram Bos!

I’ve been wondering when I was ever going to be able to afford the Buchla/TipTop 296t- but with clever routing I may not now have to. Anything involving these two genii just has to be an instabuy!

Nice Plug-in! I was looking at the Spectravox to have something like this on my studio, but I think I'll get by with Skulptur. As a suggestion, I think, this kind of tool could benefit a lot from having some envelope follower, either from the input signal or from another source.
