I see so many comments not just in this video but others saying “God Bless Desantis or Trump etc. I don’t know how people believe in God and yet spew so much hatred. It’s sad, put yourself in other peoples shoes for once. That is one thing I don’t understand about most ‘Christian’ Republicans. I’m not Republican and I don’t believe all Republicans are bad but why do many of them claim to be Christian when they do not practice what they preach.

Fruit and vegetables are about to go up and farmers will have a hard time filling positions.

Good luck finding construction workers when another hurricane hits Florida.

Looks like the true identity of Florida is coming out. Hopefully Disney pulls away from Florida, labor shortages rises, and the economy suffers. You will then realize how much this will cause a domino effect across the state.

Florida has an estimated 700, 000 migrant workers in the farming industry. There has been a shortage of migrant labor. Who is going those maintain those industries and fill those jobs?

This will be a big challenge to agriculture in the state, including orange groves and sugar cane. Also every stage of food processing, construction, landscaping, domestic service.

Excellent policy, cripple your second largest taxable industry while in the middle of a dogged legal battle to cripple your largest taxable industry after killing a chunk of your available workforce. Hope all those 70+ y/o retirees enjoy their new retirement tax 'cuz they won't even have enough employees in the state to tax regular income by the time Mussolini Jr is done with their economy.

This country is becoming more and vile and hateful towards other people of the world. So ashamed.

If anyone wants to see the potential impact this bill will have on Florida, look no further than California when Pete Wilson passed similar bill in the 90s.

a friend of mine who is a conservative always complaining about illegal emigration a visited him on Sunday and he had 4 Hispanic guys installing his main gate. i couldn't help laughing i was wondering what his approach to this guys was. was it are you legal to work in this country or how much are you going to charge me for labor knowing of course the a contractor would probably charge him double. and this is one of many things people will have to pay more for besides harvesting crops, roof replacement, remodeling you're house among other things. enjoy yourselves FLORIDIANS

There is such a moral sickness in this country that I’ve never seen in my long life.

Why can’t people see that migrant workers can still work with a visa they just have to do it legally. The only thing that this bill will do is require the legality of migrant workers as well. Also create a way forward to not have these illegal work practices and will stem the human trafficking for labor. I don’t understand why people think this is OK that we can exploit these people for cheap labor, and undercut the market on the backs of these people.

Somethings wrong with this picture . Juilo is on TV network news admitting his legal status but "has to be careful" so the government doesn't find out ? Comon, do better than that .

As a Native American I find all this very sad and scary. I have lost everything except my Florida ID. It is almost impossible to get birth certificate without my naturalization papers for coming off the rez. I'm terrified I'll be picked up by some racist cop and have to prove I'm "legal" because of the color of my skin.

So the employers need to provide a living wage and benefits to eligible workers.

Republicans love cheap labor but now will need to pay for it.

I'm certain of the celebration by conservatives. However, the collective changes to laws regarding immigration, schools and eventually child labour laws. This paints a picture where people seem to be gleefully celebrating their own downfall.

Without a proper education, children will have lower opportunities, without immigration you will have shortages with unskilled labour and, with some conservatives pushing to have relaxed child labour laws, it feels primed to have children working unskilled jobs on lower wages... I don't know, it appears like some rich people are about to get exceedingly more wealthy from these laws.
