So it's 12!*2^12*8!*3^8 if you ignore impossible positions

So we could probably generalise it for any rubik's polyhedron to be the product of all a!*b^a, where each "a" is the number of possible positions for a uniquely shaped piece and "b" is the number of distinct rotations that piece can be in (aka its rotational symmetry).

I'm not sure how you would remove the number of impossible positions though

There's a math term for multiplying all numbers from 1 to any number. It's called factorial. It uses the symbol "!".

One mistake… a solved cube would have 24 different arrangements because you counted a solved cube as the same as a solved cube flipped over and so fourth. Hope this helped
