Rodenhouse Fasteners to attach Neopor Insulation from BASF

Показать описание
In this video, Rodenhouse Fasteners demonstrates its fasteners to attach Neopor Insulation from BASF. The Neopor Insulation in this video is being used for the HP+ Wall System, an insulated wall system used for wood frame construction primarily in residential and multi-family homes. To attach Neopor Insulation to wood studs, we have various fastening options to consider. Our 2" Thermal-Grip® ci prong washer can be used to pre-spot on the surface of the foam for easy "on-the-wall" nail or screw assembly. In this video, you see our Grip-Lok® Autofeed Fastening System with an auto-feed screw gun being used to rapidly attach with our Grip-Deck coarse thread screws into the wood studs. Our 1 3/4" dia. Plasti-Grip® ci prong washer also has prongs to enable pre-spotting an easy "on-the-wall" nail or screw assembly. In this video, you see them being shot in with a scrail system. A scrail is a screw that is shot in ballistic-ally like a nail. providing adjustablility or removability if necessary. For Brick Veneer or Stone veneer Cavity Wall applications, you could utilize either the Pos-I-Tie veneer anchoring system with eh Thermal-Grip® Brick Tie Washer, or you could also use the Thermal-Grip® Wall Tie Solution, which incorporates a Thermal-Grip® washer, a corrugated metal strap, and a double threaded screw that provides both compression and tension resistance. For adhered masonry such as stucco or stone veneer, we've provided our Grip-Plate® Lath and Plaster Washers to attach the lath outboard of the Neopor insulation. The Grip-Plate® Plaster Washers are 1 1/4" dia. and help spread the load to be able to support heavier claddings outboard of the insulation. Lath can be rapidly attached over the insulation and into the wood studs using either the Grip-Lok® Autofeed Fastening System for screws, or you can shoot it in using a nail gun with our Bullseye® nose adapter. For attaching Neopor insulation to a concrete block or masonry substrate, utilize our Plasti-Grip® PMF Anchor. PMF stands for Plastic Masonry Fastener. These are easy to use by pre-drilling into the masonry substrate, placing the anchor into the hole, then tapping in with a hammer until flush. No adhesives, pins or screws required.
