I remember “hot wheels velocity x” for game cube which was released in 2002.
It had graphics equal to what’s shown here as 2011.

1 was great, Mater National was a big missed potential, Race-O-Rama is still awesome, 2 was cool, and 3 Driven-To-Win was decent

In all seriousness, how did a game from 2006 manage to be best one to come out? All they had to do was use that one as reference, and with advancement in hardware anything is possible. I agree that working with Pixar played a big part, but if you have the passion the newer releases could’ve come close and possibly even better.
