Currently taking one of these for a crohn's flare. The side effects can suck for some people but they have saved me so much pain.

She fails to mention that long term use of prednisone will seriously and negatively affect your bone density. I was on it for almost a year and now have severe osteoporosis and I’m only in my 40s. In my view prednisone should be used only in the very short term. It also can quickly become difficult to come off of. If you stop too abruptly it will cause inflammation to flare up again.
