Please be aware that the platform is very unreliable, frequent down times. As if they lived in the 90s. And the customer service is basically nothing. No response, no solution, no follow-up. I leave them as soon as I can.

Coinbase you can buy on the exchange then transfer out.. what’s the difference for etoro..

Their fees are horrendous, especially on crypto’s. I am going to liquidate a lot of the positions.

Edit: I actually opened up an account on binance those fees are nothing compared to eToro, btw I mean mainly the spread as a fee

is it possible to de-link individual crypto for a Copyportfolio portfolio and transfer it to an external wallet? If so how do I do this? Do I click "stop copying"?

I’m using it for about three months and I have realized a couple times in my mobile app that I have tried more than one times to buy or sale system errors occurred and didn’t let me enter my buy or sale order and secondly if I want to take my money back it takes a long time nearly 7-10 days

You can only trade your assets for fiat currency you say? So why is etoro have a wallet then? What’s the point of a etoro wallet?? Couldn’t I buy ADA on etoro then transfer it to wallet then transfer it to secure storage????

I have used etoro for years for cfd stocks and what not and to be fair they always were commission free. The interface is easy to use and intuitive too so I was pretty happy with it. The social trading and copy trader part of it I don't care about. In fact it's quite annoying how people try to promote themselves and write "well informed and smart" "articles". Their wallet is terrible, it doesn'teven work. I have been waiting for 2 weeks now for them to fix it and to get the last of my btc out of there. Also, you'll pay fees once when you transfer from the platform and once again when you transfer to another wallet. So yeah don't bother if you want to buy crypto and want to transfer later.

I've been trying to withdraw money from eToro for 2 weeks. Always end up with “We are unable to submit your request. Please contact out customer support for help”. I’ve contacted customer support a dozen+ times. It’s always the same line, “a few more days to resolve”. eToro is looking more and more like a scam

I have a open trade on cardano at a leverage x1 on the Etoro platform. Can Etoro sell my trade at anytime because i have no ownership of the trade. I want to hold my cardano for the long term. Just wondering if anybody has any experience on the Etoro platform.

Or will my Etoro trade be safer if i transfer it to an Etoro wallet?
